Short Bio

John is a songwriter who creates lyrics with the intent of capturing emotion, a moment in time that we can travel to and be present in. Much like a photograph defines the light of an instant. With one foot in the South and one in the Midwest, John's music is a modern blend of traditional Americana and a willingness to be undefined.

John’s most recent album “Sphere of Consciousness” released in 2021 represents over a decade of writing and reflections. He’s very much looking forward to be performing as much as possible again throughout the Midwest (Click for show Calendar).

Recordings

John has released two full length albums ”Sphere of Consciousness (click to listen)” "The Jack Moon Sessions at Sun Studio and Chappy Roads" (click to listen) and an EP titled "Out In The Cold - 12th Street Singles".  John plans to continue this theme of the "Out in the Cold" EP's recording his politically themed songs.  With the material for many more albums written John plans to continuously release new studio recordings for years to come.
